Our Story
Capitres is an Iraqi clothing brand that turns football memory into everyday garments.
Some countries archive their history in museums. Ours lives in football shirts — in the olive green of Los Angeles '84, in Ammo Baba's touchline silhouette, in radios pressed to ears across Baghdad, Basra, Erbil and Sulaymaniyah.
We started Capitres to give that memory a wardrobe. Each piece begins in the archive: photographs, match reports, the shirts themselves. Then we rebuild it — honest cotton, considered cuts, details that reward a second look. Nothing nostalgic for nostalgia's sake; everything made to be worn hard, today.
“Declare your passion.”
The only brief we ever write
01
Every reference is researched — seasons, kits, moments. If it's on the garment, it happened.
02
Heavyweight cottons, reinforced seams, prints that survive the wash and the mosh.
03
Three languages, one badge. Football never asked where you're from — neither do we.
